About me
Fully accredited, deeply faithful, and genuinely committed to your wellbeing — I offer a space where you are truly welcome, exactly as you are.
I am a fully accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with the BACP and a practising Catholic, and I have been supporting individuals through some of life's most challenging moments for over 15 years. My work is shaped by a conviction that healing involves the whole person — mind, body, and soul — and that faith, far from being a barrier to good therapy, can be one of its greatest resources.
I trained as an integrative therapist, integrating person-centred and psychodynamic therapy and hold a BA (Hons) and PG Cert in Integrative Counselling. I am a registered, accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in full accordance with their Ethical Framework. My practice is regularly supervised, and I am committed to ongoing professional development.
My Catholic faith is not incidental to my work — it is central to it. I understand the particular struggles that can arise at the intersection of faith and life: doubt, guilt, spiritual dryness, the weight of moral failure, and the longing for reconciliation. I also understand the profound consolation that faith can offer, and I seek to honour that in every session. As a convert to Catholicism I also have an understanding that entering into full communion with the Church is not a one-time event, but a lifelong task.
I bring warmth, patience, and a genuine curiosity about the people I work with. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself — built on trust, honesty, and unconditional positive regard — is one of the most powerful agents of change.
