Working hours

My working hours are Monday – Friday, between 9am – 5pm, with some flexibility around these hours depending on availability.

I am an accredited member of NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) and I abide by their ethical framework.

I attend monthly supervision and engage in regular CPD (continuous professional development) activities to support my counselling practice.

My background

Health and well-being

Prior to training to be a counsellor, I ran a health and wellness practice (Devon Holistic Therapies) for over 15 years, providing massage therapy to help people improve their physical health and emotional well-being.

Holistic massage

Using massage as a therapeutic tool was a rewarding, fulfilling  experience.  In 2022 I closed my complementary therapies practice due to problems with my back.

Higher Education

Since 2013, I have worked as an independent consultant for Clear-Links and Amano Technologies, providing 1:1 support to students with disabilities and mental health problems at various higher education institutions including Plymouth College of Art and The University of Plymouth.

Specialist Mentoring

My current role as a Specialist Mentor involves motivating and encouraging students to develop interpersonal and social skills, enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and reach their desired academic and personal goals.
